Why is it important?

Our students receive knowledge, logical tools, and skills that enable them to achieve much greater success in their studies and future careers. They learn to think precisely and in depth. The PLATAN training program helps children excel in their everyday, general education program and improves the results of their cognitive ability tests (IQ, psychometric testing, etc.), which are widely used for admission to top educational institutions in Europe, the USA, Israel, and many other countries. The goal of our Academy is to bring our students to a much higher level than the majority of students in general education institutions. Like the Israeli state program Mehunanim-Metstainim (you can read more about this program in the 'Articles' section), the PLATAN Academy not only provides students with knowledge but also teaches them to quickly understand and analyze the information they receive. Our students are not just trained to solve complex, non-trivial problems, but they learn to find non-standard solutions. The program expands and deepens children's knowledge, teaching them to view processes and phenomena from multiple perspectives and to notice details others might miss. Our students learn to think precisely and in depth. They receive knowledge, logical tools, and skills that enable them to achieve much greater success in education and future careers. The PLATAN Academy program does not replace the general education curriculum; it is an additional, enriching program designed to develop and deepen the skills and abilities that general schools cannot focus on adequately. Studying under the PLATAN program significantly enhances students' success in their general education programs and improves their cognitive ability test scores (IQ, psychometric testing, etc.), which are used for entrance exams to various academic institutions in Europe, the USA, Israel, and other countries. While improving school performance and test scores is not the primary goal of the PLATAN program, it is a valuable 'by-product' of the program. An important aspect of learning at PLATAN Academy is the practical experience students gain from interacting with their gifted peers worldwide. Communication during the PLATAN program differs greatly from the typical format in regular schools. Our students engage in joint discussions of the information presented to them, collaborating to find answers to questions. Through this process, students learn to listen, cooperate, persuade others of their views, and develop individuality within a team.
