Our students are learning in accordance with the PLATAN program, which is aimed at cognitive development, deepening of knowledge, and making school learning more effective and efficient. The purpose of the PLATAN program is to prepare students to quickly perceive complex information and solve non-trivial problems across various subjects and situations. In our Academy, students learn according to the PLATAN program within the concept of Early Age Advanced Learning and Development (EAALD). PLATAN implements international experience in advanced education for children with high cognitive abilities, using the educational approach of the Israeli state program for gifted children (Mehunanim-Metstainim). The PLATAN program is an intensive modern curriculum adapted for online teaching, also incorporating educational blocks from top Ukrainian programs. The PLATAN program consists of courses that develop students' general cognitive abilities, expand their knowledge, and improve both quantitative and verbal thinking. The main goal of the PLATAN program is to provide students with knowledge and skills that are insufficiently covered or absent in regular school education programs. PLATAN significantly broadens children's knowledge areas, develops their cognitive abilities, and introduces them to subjects that general education schools may not offer. To foster quantitative thinking, students are introduced to the basics of logic, problem-solving, strategic and tactical games, and the practical application of arithmetic. To enhance verbal thinking and broaden knowledge, the program offers courses on the basics of geography, astronomy, history, chemistry, and physics in an engaging and exciting format. The PLATAN program is designed for intensive learning without making the student feel like they are studying. This is achieved through project-based learning, where students play logical games, analyze them, discuss a variety of interesting topics, and solve practical problems using math and logic. Studying under the PLATAN program accelerates a child's cognitive development, deepens their knowledge, broadens their horizons, and enhances their overall school learning experience. The main purpose of PLATAN is to prepare students to rapidly absorb complex information and solve challenging problems in various fields and situations.
